One of the highest points open to tourists in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, near the Mizoram border. Famous for its “sea of clouds,” best seen at dawn from Congkong Pahar or Ruilui Para.

Home to Lushai and Tripura communities. Bamboo-stilt houses and tribal cuisine (bamboo chicken) are local highlights.

How to Get There

Dhaka → Khagrachari (bus, ~6–7 hrs) → Dighinala → Sajek by reserved Chander Gari (open jeep). Jeep convoys run on fixed schedules — check locally.

Non-AC ৳750–900, AC ৳1,200–1,700 · 6–9 hrs

No direct transport to Sajek itself — from Dighinala, a shared Chander Gari (open jeep) covers the final leg, roughly ৳500–800 per person, 2–3 hrs, timed around fixed convoy departures.

October–March. Monsoon (June–Sept) has dramatic fog but risk of landslides/road closure.
